Confused is what I have been but Darb is here now so---. Not sure I can do this by myself but with her help I can make it. Have been anxious to get on the board but as a computer illiterate person it isn't easy. I will have a few days with Darb so hopefully I might be able to learn what I'm doing. Hope to hear from you all soon & thanks for your patience. Velma

Hi Velma, we all have to start somewhere and pretty soon it will come easy to you. Glad that Darb is there to give you a helping hand and to show you the ropes, so to speak. You're going to love writing and reading your replies; it's fun and everybody is so friendly. I just got in the house from an afternoon with a group of friends and in an hour we will be having company arriving to have dinner with us. Now, DH is really making this easy for me as he is ordering Chinese take out for us so that means I don't have to do any cooking. What more could I ask for? Sure wish you lived closer, I would have you stop by and join in.

Have fun posting. Hugs. Bea

P. S. I'm from the Boston, MA area.

How nice of you all for your response & I do thank so very much. I'm afraid I'm terribly slow but I will get it sooner or later. Tomorrow will be going with Darb to her home & then on Sat. we are going to see Lion King in Chi. Something I'm really looking forwrd to. This cold weather is for the birds & even the birds don't like it. Thanks again for the welcome. Talk later so till then, Velma

Hi Velma.

A big welcome to the board. I bet Darby can get you all straighten out with the board and I do hope that you will continue to post with us.. Actually since we have the new board format was are all sort of still learning too..

Have to warn you that we are pretty nosy here.LOL. I might be the nosiest as I am always asking the questions.. If you see a post with a Question mark by it open it up and answer away if you feel like it..

See you soon.. Enjoy your visit with Darb..

Becky

HI VELMA ~ Glad to see you're posting. I'm sure you'll feel quite comfortable in short order. You'll probably get use to this faster than some of the rest of us because we're still wishing for the old boards back again.

Boy, you ladies sure do get around. First Darby is up by you and now you're down by her. Enjoy the play. I was to one yesterday at the Fireside. It was opening day for "Annie Get Your Gun". As usual it was very good and the meal was about the best I've ever had there.

Did you have stormy weather down there? We had lots of rain last night but no storms here. However, it's very chilly and still damp.

Take care........ kaci

Hi Velma and welcome. I'm sort of an on-again off-again poster here myself. I live in Maine and have recently retired from my full-time job and started working part-time in retail. I don't spend a lot of time on the computer but this is the one place I keep coming back to; everyone here is so great to know. From what I've read, I take it that you're Darby's mil. Is that right? I hope you keep on posting; I'll be looking forward to hearing more from you. Diana
