Down Under, hope you all have a really good day either resting or celebrating, we have had a lovely day here the result being we are all so tired, should sleep well tonight for sure.

We have had very good rain in the latter part of the day, such a joy when it rains here I hope by the end of winter we will be sick of rain, the whole country needs it badly.

Lottie & Avonne I have missed your cheerful messages on the board, do hope you are all well & not having tornado problems. I am very ignorant about tornados as we are not prone to them here thankfully, the only time I can remember anything similar was many years ago Darwin up the top of our country was completely destroyed by what they classed as a hurricane, it was terrible, most of the people were brought down south until they could rebuild the city.

Well I am off to bed now after a very busy weekend, Hugs & smiles to everyone, Doreen.

Thanks for your greeting.

Let me say that you should be grateful that you don't get tornados. There is such destruction when one sets down. I am so glad that so far I have not had to suffer that destruction. I am very afraid of high winds and I suppose I would have to be sent to the funny farm if I was ever in one. We have had several watches for them here.

Hope you evening is going well..

Becky

Doreen, we had a very quiet Mother's Day here but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Last night it rained so hard that I thought our roof was going to cave in; I have never heard it rain so hard before and usually this old house, being built as well as it is, you just don't hear it raining. Last night was quite different. And then we had the thunder and lightening to go along with it. I shut down and went to bed and watched an old movie on our AMC channel as they geared all movies to Mom's. It was different and I noticed that I dozed off earlier than usual--either I was tired or I was bored, but this morning I feel great so it probably paid off to go to bed early.

Hope you recuperated from your busy Mother's Day and that you have a good day today. Our lilacs that have been cut down to the ground last year--guess what--some of them have little tiny sprouts coming out of them. I don't expect them to grow much this year but they seem to still be alive. Hooooorrraaayy! Bea
