Hey Mindy, good to catch you here and glad that all is going well and that your getting a shoe on again. Do you work for Avon? Haven't seen a rep around here for a long time and I used to know a few gals that sold Avon and they did very well. But I had so many allergies that I couldn't help them out by being a buying customer.

Don't send the rain here, please! We are just drying out a little, all our water tables are high and the river in back of us is to the top of the banks also. Being in the city though it is sad to see how the kids (and maybe not all kids but some adults too) toss things in the river just to see it land in the river, and then it clogs up the draining system and we will have overflows in certain areas if the city doesn't find the problem at hand. DH and I are getting anxious to get to the lake, we checked it out the other day and the grass is so overgrown and the dandelions are taller than the grass. Also, the water is very high down there also, and our steps lead right into the water and it's up to the top step right now. Makes it difficult to put the dock in when it's so high as things float instead of resting on the bottom of the lake, so DH doesn't mind waiting for it to drop a foot or even two feet. However, DH seems to have more aches this year, and am wondering just how much longer he will be able to do this heavy work.

Well, not to worry about that now, as I just intend to enjoy today for what it is and hoping the sun will come out to add to the sunshine. Yes, I've noticed a few gals haven't been on the board, and I'm kind of bad myself because it seems that I can't get here every day, but I'm trying. Your dinner sounds yummy and think we will drop in--seeing as dessert isn't available I'll stop at the bakery on the way! Hugs. Bea

Mindy, such good news that you're walking again! Don't over-do it...orders from Dr. Cal:o)

How is your DIL's store doing? It's such a job to be in business for yourself...I hope all is going well for her. Did Mother's Day give her a boost in sales?

Take some time to do something nice for yourself today! Cal
