Still Babysitting The Grandkids ....

Hi everyone. dd wanted to stop after work with some fellow employees and, since she never has a chance to do anything like that, I said go ahead. Right now I have pizza in for the kids.

I took them to my house this afternoon and we got some yard work done. 13 yr old dgs & 6 yr old dgd picked up branches and twigs that went down last weekend in the heavy wind. Then dgs mowed some of the lawn. I planted the mock-orange bush that I got for mothers' day and I planted all of my gladiola bulbs. I also moved a bleeding heard that had started to grow into some other plants. Dgs helped direct me so that I could hook up the camper and move it up by the house and I plugged it in and flushed out the anti freeze. I seem to have a problem with the electrical system again though. I can't get the slide to go out. ds is working on that right now.

Tomorrow I will finish the lawn and clean the camper so it's ready to go next weekend. I also have to get some flowers up to my mom's grave - that's about 60 miles away from home. Both of my dd's will come with me for that. If I have time I'll get some annuals to put in the planters and in between the periennels. Boy, sounds like I'm going to have to get up pretty early.

Hope you all have a good weekend............. kaci

Kaci:

Hi boy you are busy...what great help you have also.

I used to camp...have many great memories of those good times. we always dreamed of a motor home when we retired and go cross country...now that dh has lost his sight we never talk about that dream.

Enjoy your weekend...sounds like you and Kay are big garden people.

HUGS

I really don't have that much in the line of gardens. There are a couple of flower beds right next to the house and I'm in the process of creating one other one. It's mainly periennels but I'm going to put in a few annuals too for a splash of color. Darby gave me some periennels that fill quite a bit of it. There's still a long way to go. Darby is the one that is the gardener. Her yard is beautiful and she's also a master gardener. I'm just a plug along one.... kaci
