Haven't posted much lately. Been at ds and dil's new house while the floor refinishers are doing their thing. The floors will be so gorgeous! Luckily they have a finished basement to live in til it's safe to put the furniture back. The owner of the company was talking to them about getting the dog's nails taken out under anesthesia to prevent damage to the floor. Lottie? Is this a common practice? Dil doesn't want to do it, wants to just keep his nails trimmed.

Still having puter problems. Dh took it in and they can't find anything wrong so it's our phone line or ISP that's causing the problem. This is the puter that's going to my mil Velma so that's OK. However our new pc came without a modem and it only accepts the Gateway brand so we have to wait another week for that to come. Always something!!!In the meantime I'm finally getting used to this laptop of dh's.

Going to another musical today: Tick Tick Boom by the guy (since deceased) who wrote Rent. We have season tickets but I wish the plays were spaced out better. I have soooo much work to do outside including planting 9 flats of annuals.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

hugs, Darby

Good Morning Darb. Sounds like that house is really starting to take shape. Has d-i-l started to work on the landscaping yet? Spring would be ideal to start working on that but she must have so much to do on the house itself. These things all take so much time.

I have to get my annuals too and get them planted. So much to do and so little time. You should have seen me yesterday up on a step-ladder with a saw cutting branches from the trees because I wanted to clear a way to bring the camper from the back to the front. The last thing I wanted was to have a branch hit the air conditioner on top of the camper or something like that. I had dgs up in the tree helping to steady the saw and away I went. He's the one that's always climbing trees anyway. I have so much to do today that I'll probably be all pooped out by the time I have to go to the reunion.

Is the musical downtown Chicago, or out by you someplace? Annette has been talking about going to someplace that I think is called "Pheasant - something or other" once just to see what it's like, but we haven't done it so far.

I hope the weather stays nice so you can get all your planting done. Take care.... kaci
