I'm still in a bit of a funk from the play last night. The story involved a love affair that couldn't continue - for complicated reasons - so the woman gave up the man - made him think she didn't love him any longer. He was destroyed by it - and so was she. Makes me wonder - how many of us have had a really wonderful/passionate love affair - either with DH or with someone else? And is it as painful/wonderful as it always seems in stories? Since I started dating DH when I was 15 - and he's just always been there - I feel like I've missed out on having a really exciting relationship. I'm not complaining about a wonderful, supportive, comfortable life - but.....? If you feel like sharing - I know of only one couple in a long-term marriage who still act like newly-weds, and I wonder how they do it.
Okay - enough True Confessions for today. I must get out and about. Hope you all have a great day - Rosemary

Hugs, Darby
P. S. Should I add, just to spice things up a little--that I was engaged to somebody else, and when DH came along and I fell madly in love with him we took my engagement ring from the other guy and tossed it into the river!
Vern and I still feel for each other, he still calls me
his bride and tells everyone that we meet that we are still
on our honeymoon. I realize now days that is very odd but
our passion is what has kept us sane at insane times. I don't
think I believe in affairs, but sometimes I know that somethings
happen for the best. I would just lay it out and tell the dh
sweetie I love you, but I need some real passion and some damn
good s*x LOL. We all need passion even at 63. Betty hugs
You always say it like it is and I love that about you.
Continued passion between you and your DH..
