What a timely question! DH called our doctor yesterday (as a last resort) to ask if there was anything that could be done to stop his snoring. He has used the nose strips & throat spray...neither helps. It has gotten to the point where we can't sleep in the same room...very discouraging, but I need sleep!
The doctor said the only relief would be for me to wear ear plugs, because even the surgery wouldn't help in his case. I have worn them & they bug me so that I can't sleep & I don't feel they're safe.
Good luck, I hope your situation isn't as severe! Cal
My DH snored so bad and he would stop breathing (apnea) many times every night. I had tried the ear plug thing and finally moved into the other room every night. It had gotten so bad that I finally printed out a page from the internet about sleep apnea and laid it on DH's table by his chair and the next day he called the sleep clinic. He now wears a CPAP mask at night and we both are once again sleeping in the same bed.
Are you using the soft foam earplugs? They are much more comfortable and you do get used to them after awhile.

Oh, about me, I don't think I snore.
