Rosemary that is a deep question but a good one, I met my DH when I was 14 & I have been extremely happy, of course the passion quietens down in our lives but I have to agree with Judi, to be cherished & loved still with hugs & a quiet kiss or two brings back wonderful memories, to me it is now so good to live with my 'bestest' friend, I still get the odd thrill when he puts his arm around me or on my shoulder unexpectedly. On the more practical side that wild passionate affair seems to bring a lot of pain at times.

I can remember seeing 'Camille' as a film when I was very young, Greta Garbo & I think a very young Robert Taylor were in it, the only film I ever saw her in from memory, it was very tragic even in those days.

Judi as if I would refer to you as 'Dotty' I admire how you have coped with your life & am so glad you are having a good comfortable life now, I know you have to cope with many health problems but even that you do well.

Bea so happy you are all together again with the water problems, we all wonder at times as we get a little older what the next problem will be but do you know what we always cope

Well off to bed now, have a good day HUGS Doreen.

Doreen,

Your posts are always so interesting and full of experiences to share. You seem to have a way of putting things that is quite comforting. I am so happy that you decided to join this board when you did.

I hope you are having a peaceful sleep as I am writing this. Have a good day when you get up..

Hugs..Becky

Hey Doreen-------------I would say your off in slumberland right now, and hope it's a good nights sleep that you are getting. Yep, the water situation is about ¾ taken care of, all they have to do someday is give us a call and say they are on the way to reinstall the water meter. I wonder if our water usage is free until that time? Anyway, life goes on, and we also had that roofing problem and a roofer is supposedly going to get here--say, in about 3 weeks time. We're hoping, anyway. The good weather hasn't really arrived here, so we aren't losing out on any good days at the lake----yet.

Have a good day! Hugs. Bea
