getting sad around here, Vern's mom is getting so

bad, the Dr called and told dh to get his mom down

to imaging that something showed up now they have to

do a Cat Scan, she is so scared, we all are. I feel so

sorry and guilty at the same time, she just keeps apologizing

to Vern and I. She says she never was the nice sweet mom

and that she wanted time to make up for it, I told her that

there was nothing to apologize for that we loved her and

we wanted her here with us as long as I can take care of her.

I think she will be put back in the hospital. I held off

on interviewing anyone until we see what the next step is.

This little lady is 4" 8 inches and just bones. You know who

she looks like? Granny on Golden girls, she is told that

so much. Ladies have a good evening and I will talk to you

later. Boy we were sure proud of Annika she did so good.

Betty hugs.

Prayers for your MIL. So sad that she is telling you that she knows she wasn't always nice. It really is a shame that some people wait till so late to tell people how they feel. It is kind of you to tell her that you will take care of her as long as you can.

Take care..Becky

I'm sorry to hear that Vern's mom isn't doing so well, and she is probably so frightened at the idea of the catscan also. She must feel so helpless and laying there thinking back over her life. For her to apologize about how she's been really has her thinking and dwelling on things in the past. Hoping this will pass and that she gets good results and doesn't have to go through too much. It's such a sin to get "old"--gosh darn, we're all gonna' stay young, or at least young at heart. Prayers to help you through this situation. Bea

Oh, Betty, the situation with your MIL sounds so familiar, as you know. I feel bad for everyone concerned...it's a tough time when they're ill & can't care for themselves. The tests are draining physically & emotionally. It's good that she has you for support. Hang in there & remember to take care of yourself, too. Cal
