Guess what? DH bought a set of keys for the car. I went with him but stayed in the car, and it's now programed and all. DH handed me the keys, and I refused to even touch them. His responsibility from now on, unless I want to drive but then they will go right back to where he decides to keep them.
So, keys are in place, water situation almost completed except for reinstallation of water meter and boy do we have good pressure. Now, waiting for the roofer. Isn't it silly that water comes pouring through that flat roof where it shouldn't be, and water that is supposed to come in through the pipes was almost at a standstill? Boy, life is great if you don't weaken.
Got together yesterday with the gang at the lake and it is our last meeting for the season, so hope they all stay well and can enjoy the summer. I know I'm going to enjoy, by hook or by crook. And when I get my down days or bad news, I jump into something nice and bright, like my red clothes--perks me up!
A good day to all! Hugs. Bea

It's good news that things do seem to be turning around for you! You're right "life is great if you don't weaken" & I suspect we have a group of pretty strong women here.
Tell me what do you wear that's red when you're feeling blah? My red shoes make me smile.
Hope your day is swell! Cal
I've been trying to read several days worth of posts. It looks like you've had quite a time of it, Bea, with all the problems. I hope things start going right for you now. I've always had a fear that something would go wrong with the water or sewer pipes and I'd have to have my yard dug up. So far, so good. diana
Have a good evening and hope the news from your doctor will continue to be good..
Hugs..Becky
