I'm in the process of stripping wallpaper from my bedroom and have someone who is doing the prep work and painting all woodwork and someone else who will be putting up the new paper. I've got those ugly old plaster walls and can't wait to see them covered over again.
The weather is terrible but there's a possibility for a half-nice day on Sunday. I sure hope so because I've got to get out to the cemetary and plant the geraniums. Part of me says "don't worry about it; when you're gone no one will do it" and the other part says my mother is looking down and ready to scold me if I don't get it done!
Doreen, as usual I enjoy your posts. You have such a knack for story telling. Bea, I hope your liver spots turn out to be nothing to worry about, and Betty I'm sorry to hear about the troubles with your mil. You've had so many friends and family to worry about this year. To everyone else, Judi, Cal, Rosemary, Lottie, Eldersis, Darby, Mindy, Becky, Jackie and anyone I may have missed, even if I don't posts regularly I'm still thinking of you all. May your Memorial Day be an especially good one this year. Diana
Time to feed the pets and relax for a few minutes before I head for bed. Have a nice weekend everyone.

That is a big job stripping wall paper..I just painted over the walls in the kitchen..its that old plaster board too..it needs another coat this summer...
Have a good weekend..
hugs Judi
Happy as aslways to see you drop by to visit. I have to agree that the board is not as user frinedly as it used to be, but they will not be going back to the other format. Ivillage had gotten so big that the other method was not working as it should and this new format has taken care of that problem. No one is 100% happy with it, but we must adjust I guess. A little harder for us older folks to adjust I think.
Sounds like you are as busy or busier than before you retired. I know you must be enjoying most of it though. Please keep us in your heart and drop by when you can. We fret so when we don't hear from someone for a while.
Have a great holiday weekend..Hugs..Becky
