Hi everyone,

I really hope that just maybe Spring is here. Looks georgus out even tho it is a bit cool yet. At least we can hope, right? We really have waited long enough now, havn't we?

Speaking of Spring, I'm sitting here at my computer looking out at this beautiful afternoon. We have a bird feeder just a few feet out from the window & on the feeder right now we have a male Cardinal, a Rose breasted Grosebeak,a male Goldfinch & a pretty bird that I'm not at all sure of. I really get a lot of enjoyment out of these birds & we have so many vaarieties, Who says that the different species don't eat together? It is very interesting to watch them all!

Must think of some dinner as it's about that time. Talk to you all later. Have a good evening! Velma

So nice to hear from you. Sounds like you may also be a person that enjoys the out of doors as much as I do. Do you live on a lake, by any chance. We also have Blue Herons up here on our lake. We don't see a whole lot of them but really enjoy it when I do see them. Occasionally we even have them sitting on our pier. Unfortunately they do a pretty good job of whitewashing the pier when they're on it but guess that's a small price to pay for the enjoyment we get from seeing them. (besides the whitewash washes off easily). Have a great day. Velma

No we're not on a lake but close to the Indian River Lagoon so they do wonder to us just a bit in from the Lagoon. There is a small lake, the kind in every development in Fl.-a drainage ditch really, but the birds love it, as do gators time to time.Yes I love being outside.Used to walk the beach in NJ all the year long.martha

Hi Velma. Nice to "see" you. It was rather drizzly here yesterday but today certainly looks like spring. It's about 70 degrees and beautifull sunshine. I just finished mowing the lawn and am taking a bit of a rest. I brought a bouquet of lilacs in. I just love them and their fragrance. Soon the peonies will be opening so I can bring some of them in too. I love this time of year.

I envy you the birds. I don't seem to have any luck attracting any to my feeders. Maybe I should move them or something. It sure is fun and relaxing just watching them. Enjoy.... kaci
