Welcome Back Becky!!!

I'm really glad you had such a super time - but then I knew you would. And, now you are leaving us again! We're going to get "separation syndrome" soon! Actually I'm going to be leaving too - so I can't complain.

Thanks for the Anniversary wishes everybody - we had a lovely dinner out - and DH came up with lovely salmon-colored roses. This morning we have played tennis - and he has gone into work. I'm starting to clear things out here - won't have a lot of time when we get back from our cruise.

This evening we are going to the Border's Book Store - for a book-signing by Bill Bryson - one of my favorite authors. I've written to him, and he has answered me - so hopefully I can have a little chat with him. I think his best books are the ones he has written about living in England, and then about his return to the states, after living here for 20 years. I can certainly relate to a lot that he writes about. I'm really looking forward to seeing him.

Hope you all have a great day - we've lost the sun for now and will get some rain today. Rosemary

Thanks for the welcome back. I certainly am glad to be back on the board. I won't really be gone to long this time. I have to say that I am still worn out from the FL trip and probably won't be worth 2 cents when I get back from KY. I did manage to talk my sister into driving this time.

Your trip sounds fun, but I guess you will be glad to be home soon. I don't think I remember when that will be, but figure it must be coming up. Would you do it again or perhaps you all already have?

Enjoy your day and your cruise.

Becky

We've been to Oxford about 4 times before this time - either for a year, or six months. So this wasn't a new experience, but different since we didn't have children with us this time! I don't think I'd do it again - will be ever so glad to be back in my home and with my friends. I think I've gotten to be a recluse here - don't mind the days alone now as much as I did 5 months ago - and I don't think that's a good thing! Our return date is 6/24 - three weeks from today! But before that, we leave on Saturday for a 2-week cruise in the Baltic - with friends from home - so that will be great. More than you wanted to know - but - - - Rosemary

The cruise sounds interesting...where will you be stopping? (I'll have to check out a map.) It's great that you'll be going with friends from home! Can't wait to hear all about it! Cal

Certainly not more than I wanted to know. I felt that I had missed out on a lot when I was gone and now I can put the dates on my calendar. I don't like to leave my house for a long time now either. I think I am soooo attached to our little country home.
