DH just opened the window so that Sammi' cat can look out, get some fresh air and hear the little birdies entertain her!
We went to the lake yesterday to set up the rug and the screens on the deck; we dragged out the glider (we have an old fashioned "ancient" one) and a few of the chairs, the table is out also. Today we just plan on food shopping and stocking the place up, I have a few bags packed with junky stuff that I just can't seem to live without but other than that we leave the place fully furnished--right down to the pots and pans which I try my darndest to not use. It's supposed to rain today, must be that storm coming up from Becky's! Anyway, DH has to also go for a fitting for his new glove this afternoon--this will be the 3rd time for the same order--they just can't seem to get the measurements right. I'm glad that we changed places to order from and only have to go the next town over and not into Boston all the time. We did that last year, and that was what encouraged the change.
Bought a Baker's Rack on sale at WallyWorld. I have a real nice one here at the house and it's really a favorite piece of furniture, I love it. Well, the one from WallyWorld is a good deal cheaper and was on sale, and who could resist. Now, DH says we can find a place for it--we don't have two inches of wall space to spare. Yesterday, he was thinking of moving stuff out of the little dining area and putting it there, turning the table to a way that I wouldn't like it at all, etc. I told him I want it up in the bedroom on my side of the bed--he frowns, can't figure that one out. I hope it fits there. If it doesn't fit at all in our place at the lake, it will come back home and go into that room we plan to do over this winter coming--ya' know, the one that just had the rubber roofing put on. I really need a wall stretcher, gals. I've been tossing stuff out every week, and it seems like an endless battle!
Gotta' go, have a good day everybody. I feel like I'm sitting on top of the world--that dr. report really cheered me up! Love to all. Bea
