Started out early Sat am working in the gardens. It was hot and humid for the first time this year and I even got dizzy. Should have had a hat on!!! Will I ever learn?

In the afternoon we went to the graduation party for our nephew who was in the car crash.I was glad we went. He walked a little on crutches but was in the wheel chair most of the time. His one knee was so badly damaged that the surgeons don't even want to touch it for 5 weeks. He looked pretty tired when we left yet had a bunch of friends staying over night. He'll be a mighty tired kid today!

Spent Sat night and Sunday morning at in-laws. Finally got all of my files out of that computer so Velma should have an easier time now. This board is still on her favorites list, so she has no excuse not to post! Where are you Velma???

While we were there we went back to the rock pile for MORE rocks. I think I'm done now at last!! Rock garden is looking pretty good!

A busy week ahead. Dog to vet, a meet with cyberfriends from the 43-59 board, and a garden walk. Somewhere in there I have to get weeding done.

Have a great week everyone. Good to have Betty, Diana and Rosemary back. Now where's Ruth Ann???

Hugs, Darby

Sure sounds like you have been busy, and making lots of headway with that rock garden! Wish I could stop by to admire it. Anyway, glad to hear that the young graduate is coming along alright, but when I hear about knee problems it raises a red flag. Hoping that youth will be on his side and he will have a full recovery. Enjoy your friends and your garden walk--sounds wonderful and we are still waiting for the weather here to warm up a little more to allow us to go out occasionally without a sweater on. Summer, not to far off, and we are still looking for spring! Oh well, and on with my day. Have a good one. Bea

P.S. I forgot to add we rushed home to have a nice dinner at our house with ds and ddil. It was a perfect evening and we were able to eat outside, Ddil even watered all my gardens for me and ds helped my dh fix our broken pier. A nice Father's Day!
