so far this morning. I haven't been to look at the rain guage this morning but, we surely had a lot rain yesterday. It was dark here at 8 PM and it is usually 9 before that happens. I hope we don't get more storms today. We certainly don't need the rain at this point and it is sure causing the mosquitoes to breed rapidly.

I am taking the DGS shopping today. He likes to go to the thrift store and find clothes to play in. Believe me it is a big help to his mom too. Yikes, I also have to make a stop at the grocery store to pick a few things up. Now you know I am not the normal grocery shopper around here, but I will sacrifice and go for DH today, since I will be in town and he won't...LOL

Ladies I do hope that you all have a good day and that many smiles will come your way.

Take care and hugs, Becky :-)

Becky, what a smart Gramma you are...getting play clothes at a thrift store! My DGD (14 yr. old) thinks it's the greatest to shop in one, because she can get so much for her money. Another smart cookie!

Regarding the mosquitos: it's being reported that West Nile is going to be a problem in MI. Infected, dead crows have already been found within 20 miles of here!

Happy shopping! Cal

I love taking the DGC shopping, which doesn't happen too often in my case because of the miles between us. But, I am always amazed at what they will pick out. I give them a certain $$$ limit, and when you take in a 17 yr. old, a 13 and a 9 year old--oh gosh, what variety and what choices. I'm getting anxious to go on another one of these trips again, and am hoping to be able to do this during the summer when they come for a visit. That is, IF they come for a visit. Last year was the first year they couldn't, and I can understand that--but I really DON'T want to understand it. I just miss those little cherubs so much. Hugs and have a good day. Bea
