It is going to be a nice, but busy day. I am staying busy on several fronts today. It will be rather nice not to have an extra person in the house for a week or 2.

Everyone is still sleeping right now and this is my peaceful time. I can hear the birds chirping and my mother bird that made a nest right under where we park our van is busy hunting for worms for her babies. This is the second set of babies to be born under there. It is so much fun watching them when they first leave the nest. They just practice and practice flying and suddenly they are gone.

I better get on with things this morning, but I will do my usual trying to get back on before late night.

Hoping a wonderful day is in store for you and remember:

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses." -Ziggy

Smile too....Hugs..Becky :-)

We've had birds build their nests under our deck, and have had a good time watching them grow and leave the nest. But, I was under the impression that they never use the nest a second time. Do yours build new nests or are they renting it out as they go along?

Have a good day! It's always fun to have the house to yourself. Bea

We have a shelf under there and we threw the old nest out when the previous tennant was done with it.This one built on the other side of the shelf. These are the little Carolina Wrens whick are out state bird. Honestly they build their nests in the strangest places.
