Hi Friends, well I have not done anything madly exciting today except the shopping, slower than ever, always so glad when it is finished & the house is stocked up for the week ahead.

Rosemary it is so good to see you back on the board, do hope your family weekend goes well, could I ask what Sloppy Joes are, here they are loose fitting casual tops made with fleecy lined material. I was so interested in the Bill Bryson book, Down Under you mentioned, I have never read any of his books but I did get that one today, of course have only read a few pages as yet, it promises to be very interesting.

To me it is very cold here at present, if I have calculated correctly it was about 48o today, to us it seems freezing, will probably be about 40o throught the night.

We are looking forward to tomorrow morning, the family will be over for a visit so must get up a little earlier to prepare for coffee & cake etc, Ben & Pa will probably play draughts again, they seem to have a lot of discussion about the rules.

I do hope you all have a happy & smiley day as Becky likes us to. HUGS Doreen

Hello there, and glad to see you posting. That sort of tells me that your feeling pretty good (hopefully). Mindy did a great explanation of what sloppy joes are and now that it's been brought up, I haven't made them for years and it would be good to brew up a batch for an easy meal for DH and I. I used to serve them on hamburg buns and kids always, always love them too. As for the game of "draught", what is it? I've never heard of it.

Hope you wake up to a sunshiny and healthy day! Hugs. Bea
