As I looked at today's date I realized that June is almost over already. I wonder at how the days fly by in such swift order. It is actually a bit scary sometimes and especially when you are 62. Yikes.

We are going out to breakfast this morning and then I am not sure exactly when, but DD Susan is coming up to get Drew and she will probably stay for awhile. I hope so.

For mother's day Susan gave me a handmade coupon for 1 pair of Dansko shoes. Is anyone familiar with them? She was able to get them at a discount through her job as manager of a hospital gift shop in Charleston. I fianlly took advantage of my coupon and she ordered them and DH brought them home to me when he took Duncan home Friday. Gosh, do I love them so far. They are so comfy.

Must run now and finish board business. Wishing all of you a fantastic Sunday.

Becky and remember :-)

I've never had any Dansko shoes, but always have tried to wear comfortable shoes. We were constantly on our feet when we were working.

I hope everyone will answer your question of the day. That's a good one, and the answers should be interesting. lottie77

I'm so happy that you like your new Dansko shoes, and let's face it, comfort first when it comes to your feet! It sounds like your weather is better down there--I don't know the temps outside and at this point I don't really care. I just turned the heat on--again. It's raining and blowing like crazy--we have that graduation party to go to and I have to find warmer clothes to wear. On top of that, I have a rotten stomach this morning, so it should clear up just about as we are leaving. Grrrrrrrrr. The lake in front of me is under so much fog I can barely see it.

Well, I did go to look at everybody's pictures last night, and this nagging thought in my head--if they can do it, why can't I. I had intentions of sending a few to you because you are so good about all this stuff. Well, I played with it and did manage to get some pictures into my folder. I tried to change a few titles but thought better leave well enough alone.

On with my day, I'm smiling--LOL! Hope you had a good breakfast. Hugs. Bea

We just got back after church, that's when I wear my dresses, and breakfast out. I am not familiar with Dansko shoes. I'll have to look for them. I want a good walking shoe--other than sneakers for a trip that may be coming up.

Have a good one--martha

Becky, guess I'll have to look up Dansko shoes...I need something a little more dressy than my sneakers to go with slacks that are comfortable for walking. I never wear skirts any more since they were what was considered appropriate attire during my working years & I got really tired of them.

Enjoy your day...breakfast out sounds good. (I love it especially for dinner/supper.) Cal
