Mindy, thank you ever so much for the recipe. I printed it all, after much aggravation because I froze up the 'puter! Leave it to Bea to do something like that. Anyway, with all this terrible weather maybe I can devote an afternoon to trying out my new electric Dutch skillet. It sounds so good, and I used to just throw it together years ago, but your recipe really sounds delish-----------
Martha, your not the first one that I heard to paint the hat red! Good idea! Last year I bought out WalMart on hats at the end of the season and got them for only $1.00. They didn't have any red hats last year, but this year they do and I bought one for $4.92 and thought I would put some flowers or something on it. Well, to end the story, I think my chapter has ended because I think that we are supposed to register with the Queen Mother every year, and we didn't. My little town here with the lake has started a new chapter and asked me to join, but think I'll wait as I don't want to get too involved right now with "the town". I found out they can really keep you busy 24/7!
The graduation that I asked about what an appropriate gift would be for is this afternoon. Well, it will be money in a card. It will be an inside party due to the weather, and I have to search the closet and bureaus for something warmer to wear--I have only one suitable jacket here and it's a sport jacket, but it will have to do. Who knows, it will probably be warmer away from the water also. Right now it is 55º here.
I got over to Yahoo, looked at everybody's pictures, and you have all done such a great job and it was so much fun to see who is who and your different activities and family members. So, the light bulb goes on, I'll give it another try. I did it! It took me a few hours, but I finally figured the darn thing out. So, a few shots of our summer living is also over there with a few of my family.
A good day to all! Hugs. Bea
