There are a lot of deer accidents here in Michigan, too, Judi, & it scares me, especially during hunting season! Thank goodness Earl is ok...as inconvenient as it may be a car can be fixed or replaced, but never Earl! A lucky day for you both! Cal

Oh thank God he is safe. I worry about that around here a lot too. We do have a lot of accidents involving deer in our part of the country too. Too bad about the car.

Tell him to take care.

Becky

Luckily he wasn't hurt. That happened to dd and dsil a few years ago. Luckily they had a little car and it flew over the windshield. If it would have been a big car the deer might have gone through the windshield. Some guys came along and instead of asking if they were allright they asked if they could take the deer!

OMG Judi, thank the Lord that he is alright. The car can be fixed, but what a terrible and frightening experience. We "almost" hit a deer in the western part of MA a few years back--it was at night and those eyes of the deer staring at me right through the windshield still haunt me. I screamed and DH missed the deer and to this day I don't know how he missed it. We learned later to always watch for another as there could have been another chasing her. They do have the most beautiful faces, and we have a few around here but we are more "city" than you are. But as we get further out we even have a few bears in the western part of MA--and that I can vouch for because we saw one one night. When we go through that part of the state and on the back roads I always tell hubby I don't want to stop for anything. I often wonder about the campers in that area and if they are ever bothered by the animals.

Again, glad that DH is okay. Phew! Hugs. Bea
