Thank you Martha, for all your kind compliments. We also had a long haired calico named Ta'sha and we had her for 18 years. When she crossed over the bridge I swore I would never have another. You well know the hurt that goes with our little furbabies when they leave. Five years went by and we always came home to an empty house. Then Sammi', as a stray little kitten, wrapped her front paws around Ted's leg one day as he was washing the car in our driveway and wouldn't let go. The rest is history, we just love her so much and she gives us so much love and affection in return. It still hurts to see her grow up as she is such a baby and strictly a housecat, I want her to stay just the way she is forever! She is such a happy camper here at the lake because the deck is screened in and she can run in and out all day long--she watches the birds, the chippies, the Canadian Geese, and once in awhile a bird will attack (or try to) her through the screens. We have a dog on either side of us also, and she watches from her careful selected spot so that she can see them but they don't see her. Oh boy, how I can rattle on about a cat----------well, on with my day. Have a good one. Hugs. Bea
