Where is that 'tired' icon? I need it so! We finally got all of our appliances on Monday, and spent the rest of that day and Tuesday trying to install the stove and the hot water heater. We decided we couldn't stand any more of that fun and made it home around 5 pm yesterday. We hit the ground running this morning, because it was 'lil ol' people' day at Kroger. We needed provisions for here as well as the place in AL. There were more plumbing pipes etc. to be bought before DH could finish the work over there. I don't have to tell ya'll how difficult it is with no running water. We can't turn the water on in the mobile home until the water heater is installed. That means flushing the toilet with buckets of water and no showers or baths. With the heat getting as hot as it has been and us working without stopping...we were getting 'gamey'.

I think that we should have some of that Godiva Ice Cream with the little chocolate hearts in it for our evening treat. Your favorite beverage is in the 'fridge. lottie77

Lottie, you do need a break. I got really tired just reading what you all have been up too. How far are you from you main house when you go to AL?

Everything will be nice when you get done though. Worth all the work I imagine.

That ice cream sound very good..Thanks.

Have a good evening..Hugs..Becky

Glad your done waiting. Now, when they put the hot water heater in have them put a shut off on the water pipe to the heater. That way you will have water if anything goes wrong with it.I've noticed as in all things today, the life of the water heater has shortened.

nice to know you may yet be able to enjoy your get-a-way home.martha

Well, thank goodness those appliances finally got delivered. I love the part about you getting "gamey" from no running water, no showers, no flushes!!! Here at the lake if we lose power we get buckets of water from the lake to toss down the toilet for the flush, and if bad comes to worse we all of a sudden notice people swimming more often to get rid of that "gaminess". So, I guess there are some advantages to being on the lake, but I really don't like roughing it too much. I feel I'm just getting to an age that is a little beyond that. Hope you get back there and get things on an even keel. Do you have a computer there and will you be able to post while you are there? Hugs. Bea

Wow, you've been busy! You make me tired just reading your post.

How'd you know I've been craving ice cream? Thanks.
