My emotion is really both sad and glad. First the sad.

One of my very best friends here has had me very worried about her--and am still. She's been having headaches-bad.Went to the eye Dr.last Thurs.Dr. sent her to a neurologist, right away,Monday. That Dr. set up an appointment with a surgeon right away.Yesterday,Tues.,She got a call to come to the surgeons office. He went over things with her and said that he didn't want to wait--he wanted to do a biopsy right away. Now, that involved drilling through the skull. She said yes and 2 1/2 hours later she was home.He couldn't wait since she might have gone blind or died. There seeme to be an aneurysm as well as whatever else they suspect. Her blood test is showing something that started all this.Prayers please. She's up and about, even walked her dog and made a meatloaf, but something is bad the way they all jumped.

Now--the happy.Yours truly is going to be going to London, England and Florence,Italy in the fall with my dd.Plane reservations have been made. Now on to the hotels and stuff.Rosemary, you do that trip so often, advice from you will be very welcome.

Oh my--wonder with this so long if anyone has the time to read it all--martha

Prayers for your friends continued recovery. Those aneurysms can be very tricky.

You are really going to enjoy that trip in the fall. I envy you a trip like that with a DD. You will have so much fun together.

Have a good day.

Hugs..Becky

Sending prayers and Cyberangels for your friend, Martha. So glad she went in when she did!

Hey, we'll be in Florence in September. Wouldn't that be neat if we were there at the same time. It's one of my favorite cities! Since you like art you will LOVE it. Trip is business for dh, pleasure for me!

Hugs, Darby

Oh Martha - so happy about your trip. How long will you be in each city? And I believe your DGS is in Florence - right? So you will have people to visit and to show you around a bit there. I was only in Florence for 3 days - on a tour - but loved it. As for London - it's a "happenin' place" as they say. Very fast pace - expensive - but great.

As for your friend - just hope and pray that they have caught the problem in time and can treat it successfully. It is scarey when things like that happen to someone close. Rosemary

Martha, what a wonderful trip to which you can look forward! How exciting! Especially great to go with your DD...what memories!

Sounds as though your friend was very fortunate to seek medical attention when she did. One never knows! Prayers already said for her.

Happy day! Cal

We're going 4 nights in London. Staying near the "eye". Five nights in Florence. The gs being there is what started all this.I'm very excited.Didn't think I'd get there since dh won't leave the USA.Also my dd is a joy to be with.

Having my friend have this happen just points out--do it while you can! martha

I never consider your posts too long, my goodness, sometimes I just rattle on and on and wonder if anybody reads them at all. But, am sorry to hear about your friend and certainly hope that whatever the problem was that they got it all taken care of. Yes, it does make you wonder why they rushed it so fast and how serious was all this and are they telling her the whole story. She is going to have to ask questions on her next dr. visit, and sometimes they only tell you on a need to know basis unless those questions are asked. My prayers are going her way.

Wow, London, England and Italy! Can I hide in a corner of your suitcase--I promise I won't take much room; I'll try to be like "Jeannie" in the bottle and just appear and disappear as necessary!

Have a good day! Hugs. Bea
