Wow! that is a lot of money..Thank goodness for good insurance. Did you mention if Earl's airbag went off or did he have any seatbelt injuries. It sounds like he was pretty lucky.

I was sweltering here last night. I reckon we are in for the heat and humidity until late fall now.

Have a good day.

Becky

Boy, aren't car prices and repairs terrible when it comes to price. thank goodness you have only $100 deductable. I think we have $500 deductable, and when we were hit by the 18 wheeler last year (in the rear so totally his fault) of course we didn't have to pay any deductable but we were afraid that they would total the car. It is only a '96 but was in good condition, and the bill came to over $7,000. They paid as we choked, but we didn't have to pay a cent.

Hope your feeling well. Did you read that Medicare accepted the bill for paying for script? I wonder how much that will "up" our medicare Part B payments? Bea

Hmmmm Judi, it sounds like Medicare is going to make it an option for those that want the prescription part of the bill added in to their benefits, otherwise it sounds awfully high for those that already may have another plan and may not want it. We already have another plan, and it already has a deductible that we each have to satisfy every year--my gosh, it's great to be insurance poor, isn't it?

As far as the house, believe it or not, we are only about 30 minutes from place to place, but both in completely different worlds. We go out quite a bit, and it seems that we manage to check the other house almost weekly during the time we are spending at the lake. During the winter months with cold and snow we don't really check out the lake place as often unless DH feels that it may be snowed under and should dig a path for the oil delivery man. People have often questioned us as to why did we buy the place so close to home--nada--they just don't understand how perfect it has worked out for us. Hugs. Bea
