Friday A.M. and I'm sorry that I

didn't even get to say "hi" yesterday. The 'puter gave me trouble the night before and DH spent almost all of yesterday updating, etc. Last night I just wasn't in the mood to even look at it. It was so hot and humid that I was in and out of the lake a dozen times; I was so bored that I took a walk around our little circle of homes and talked with a few of the neighbors. Then so miserable again with the humidity that I took another dip and went to bed at 9 p.m. because I was just plain exhausted from the weather. This weather just came on too fast, without a spring in between to get us acclimated to the change. Today, I feel a lot better. It looks like it's going to be hot and it's hazy out but I feel a lot better.

About DH's compression glove, no, they completely made an abortion out of the whole thing. They were trying to tell him that this was the 4th and final try. We wouldn't accept it. They made it so tight that they could plainly see he could hardly get it on, and then could hardly get it off. His hand throbbed for a full day after that. They are now contacting the company again--gosh knows where this will all lead, and can't understand why they made these gloves for 8 years and now all of a sudden they can't. It all changed when they moved their plant from Ohio to NC, and then I guess the seamstresses there aren't as good; I don't know what else to think. If he doesn't get a glove soon (and we order in 2's about 4 times a year) soon and the hand starts to swell, he will have to go back on med's and he really would prefer not to.

I am going to enjoy today; nothing planned and that's the best part. DH made the most delicious pizza last night, I finished it cold this morning for my breakfast. DH got the window AC unit in the bedroom yesterday, but I didn't use it last night as hot as it was because I was so exhausted I just lay so still and even with the t.v. going I fell asleep. The dock isn't in the water yet, but the water is warm enough that he thinks he may even just get in the water to start getting it in the water. Other years if the water is still cold he does everything working out of a small boat--ya' know, very tippy, floating off half the time, as I sit and watch and listen to him curse. Hopefully things will be easier this year, as late as it is. This is the latest ever............

Enuf' already, gotta' get some things done. A good day to all. Hugs. Bea

I hope you get relief from the sweltering heat soon. Luckily you have that lake. Your place sounds like my in-laws home.

We went from 90's and high humidity to 70's and lo humidity in one day. Hope it happens there too.

Hugs, Darby
