Just another uneventful day. That's OK. Really don't need anything to happen. We are just going to get our passports today.I should say apply for them. I understand they take their time.First we have to get our pictures taken.Lost the ones we had for this.Just as well, I looked like a wanted poster. Not saying this will be any better.

I will get my exercise in.Somehow when I do, I can do so much more all the day long.

Have a good day.-see you later--martha

Martha - I hope you realize it's JULY 1st, hope you haven't lost a month along the way! Smile pretty for that passport photo - it will stay with you for 10 years! Mine is almost expired, and I wonder if they can still recognize me from that photo. Sometimes they do a real double-take! You mentioned you are flying British Air - be prepared for heavy security. The British are the most strict of any airlines we have flown - go through things with a fine-tooth comb. SAS was very lax, and of course the American lines are really careless. Have a great day - enjoy that exercise. Rosemary

Oh gee, this all sounds so exciting. When did you say you were leaving for the trip? I bet your already putting aside the clothes that will be packed. Sure wish I could hide in the corner of your luggage, but with my luck when they checked it out at the airport I would be pulled out as an "alien". Have a good day. Hugs. Bea

Sounds like you all getting all the ends finished up for your trip. It may take awhile to get the passports, but you will know that you have that in the works.

I think that I have already gotten in plenty of exercise this morning. Oh, I guess running your mouth doesn't count as "real" exercise does it?

Have a good one Martha..

Hugs..Becky

Yup--July it is.

Anything you would say to not bring? Nailfile and scissors in the checked bag?Other than that we plan on going very light.Anything you suggest I should bring?

By the way if you've not done the passport in years let me tell you it is now $85, plus if you need new pictures. martha

Yes - all sharps and/or electronic in your checked bags. Keep the carry on very small and simple. When we came home, I had a lead crystal candle holder in my carryon - and I got stopped and searched. As we learned - duh - X-rays don't go through lead crystal - so it looked like I had a big black something in my bag! Even Dh didn't know that!!
