Life Seems To Be Back To Normal

I got the lawn mowed this morning. Last week we never got around to doing it, but it didn't make any difference since it's been so dry & hot here that it didn't grow much. Tonight I watered all the flower beds and the garden and I even pulled a few weeds. Tomorrow I'd like to pull the rest of the weeds and maybe hoe a little. I even managed to get a little cleaning up done in the house. I couldn't do much during the middle of the day though since it's been so hot and I don't have air conditioning. The weather forcast is calling for more of the same. We sure could use some rain up here. We got almost no snow this winter and now we're not getting rain either. The water table is really getting low. Would you gals down in the deep south like to send some of your rain up here please. We'd sure appreciate it.

Now it's bedtime for me. Have a good night..... kaci

If I could send some of that rain we've had your way, I certainly would. We're getting your share and ours too. Last year we had a drought, and now all of the big trees are falling over. The root systems have suffered too much. lottie77

Glad things are getting back to normal. Believe me, if I could package rain it would be on it's way to you instantly. We have had so much that the least bit we get now and the yard floods at once. Yesterday was no exception. Too much rain is not good on a garden either. Becky
