Have been having a very quiet weekend.Nice really.I'm scanning a couple of hundred old pictures to the pc so I can put them on a disk. Don't know if it'll be worth it.I'm only doing a dozen or so a day.

It's been very quiet on here with summer and everyone off doing exciting things.Do wish we would hear from Doreen. Anyone here have her email? Maybe a family member could tell us.

I'm off- got books to read and food to eat-martha

Scanning those pictures sound like a good idea but I find it so time consuming. I'm not too good with this stuff yet, and have put a lot of pictures sent to me on floppies, and all of a sudden realized that nothing was catagorized because I just didn't realize how all this 'puter stuff worked. So, I've been transferring some pictures to floppies of their own with their own lablels--like all of Mary's together, all the DGC together, etc. Well, you get the idea, Mary is only ficticious!! Anyway, DH is showing me how to scan, but he hogs the 'puter when he does this and all I end up doing is placing the pictures on the scanner, and he hits the right keys. I'm watching and still don't know what the heck I'm doing. He put some on a disc for me, and I'm still watching, and finally I go get us a snack, go for a swim, etc.--and I again, I still don't know what I'm doing.

Speak about being a dummy, huh, well, here I am! LOL! Have a good day! Bea

I'm only doing about 10 pictures a day.It is too overwhelming to try and do them all. I have 250 from the 1983 trip we took and the pictures are losing color.Big job.martha
