car shopping (like going to the dentist! LOL), helping ds and dil paint their house, and company on Sunday. Finally got a car last night so that daunting task is over! Since it's cooling off Wed and Thurs will probably help the kids again with their painting. Then I have to pack for our week in MT. Looking forward to seeing the mts. again. IL is soooo flat!

It sounds like everyone is either vacationing or getting ready to, but I guess that's what summer is for.

Have a good week everyone.

Hugs, Darby

Hey thanks. It's nice to be missed.

Went to check my night bloomer, no buds on it. You're lucky, but now you have to stay awake nights waiting for it to open! LOL

We go to MT quite a lot. Dh does the fly fishing routine. I'm going to check out possible retirement areas. We have relatives there and our kids love it so who knows???

Hi Darby. What kind of car did you get? Which vehicle did you replace? What part of the house are you/they painting? Have they done a lot of work with the house?

I'm so envious of you -- going to Montana. I'd love to go there again. I'm excited about spending 5 days "up north" camping with ds & family. But..... Montana sounds glorious. I loved the mountains in Tennessee this spring too. Guess I just like mountains. Do you realize that the last time we were together we forgot to look at each others vacation pictures. Oh well, next time. You'll have the Montana ones by then.

It's really cooled off a lot today. It feels heavenly tonight. Should be good sleeping.

Hi Kaci,

It's a Nissan Altima to replace the Ford Contour. I just love it. After MT dd and I will drive to my sister's in ONT and I get the new car for the trip! Dh doesn't want me to take the high mileage car to Canada.

The kids are painting the outside. They just got a new charcoal grey roof and are painting it grey with white and Charcoal grey trim. It'll look so sharp!

Cool here too. Good sleepin' weather.

Hugs, Darby
