they are the most stubborn people on the planet. Boy

ladies I should of stayed in bed, do any of you ladies

#!%*$husbands drive wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to fast?????

We quit early on the golf so we could take Bud out to

lunch 9 miles away at the Pitching Wedge Rest, I ask

dh why do you have to drive so *&$#!fast all the darn

(except) I did not say darn time. He just got all huffy

and said I was to picky on speed. Well ladies guess WHAT

we had a %*&#!!!BLOW OUT on the rear tire, it sounded like

a shotgun went through the side of the car, little 84 honda

civic hatch, just for playing golf. Bud was waiting for us

at the place, I had to have my golf instructor find him and

tell him. Then we had to go to Costco and have 4 new tires

put on even though we only had 16,000 miles on them the tread

had changed. Ladies if this man does not slow down he is going

to get us killed, I am reaching a point that I dread getting

in the car with him. Thank god my SIL will be driving all the

time we are together, he won't let Vern drive. Do you ladies

think your a better driver than your H (he doesn't deserve dh

at this point.)I am steaming and then all he wants to do is

hug hug hug hug hug hug & make it all better LOL. Sorry ladies

I am stupified. Hope your day was a really sweet day. God I love

this board. Betty ((((((((hugs))))))))))))I'M READY FOR A STIFF

ONE DRINK THAT IS.

Maybe Vern is just missing a good ol' fashioned police chase! Do you think so? My DH isn't too bad at driving fast, although he did have to try to make good time between farm calls. He drives in the middle of the road! The country roads around here all have very bad shoulders, and so he takes the middle....but a lot of other people do too. That drives me crazy. lottie77

Oh my a blow out and a blow up all in one day. I have been there on the speeding thing. but DH is not quite the fast driver he used to be. Of course, I think I am the better driver. What else would I say.LOL

I suppose it would have been better if you all hadn't had to buy new tires just when you are leaving on vacation, but better you had your blowout in familiar country.

Are you all ready to get on the road tomorrow? We will miss you here. Bon Voyage..

Hugs..Becky

Yeah, I agree with you--men are stubborn, darn stubborn. Not only drive fast but they are always right, huh. And they can go around yelling and then they wonder why are you so upset--I just stay quiet and disappear and ignore him completely. Sometimes I think he doesn't notice, other times I think it bothers him that I don't react. I've reached the "I don't really care" attitude--I have commented a few times on "tailgating" though, and I told him that since I'm on meds for nervous stomach it seems his driving isn't bothering me as much. I wonder how he interpreted that. Oh well, we women are never right, ya' know--LOL! Have a good, safe, day. Bea

Betty:

My suggestion you drive one car he the other then you do not have to worry about being in the car with him.
