G'Day Doreen calling in again

Hi Friends.

It is Saturday here, very cold, we are finding the winter difficult this year somehow. We had to go food shopping today as we had not been for two weeks, the larder was becoming very bare. I could not get over how weak I felt but we got it all done, that was the main thing.

I do hope everyone is well & happy, you appear to be having some good warm weather for your summer, also rain which we certainly don't have in our summer.

DS took the 3 DGS roller skating today, they are on school holidays at present, they thoroughly enjoyed the skating even DS except for the noise, he felt that was a sign he is getting older, they were all playing up while he was talking to me on the phone, he said they are always the same when he is on the phone, I said that's strange John I knew a little boy years ago who was just the same.

I just love being in the quiet of our home more than ever until I regain some strength, have to get myself ready to deal with that wretched Neurologist in two weeks, don't worry girls I will be right ready for him this time.

Must close now love & HUGS to everyone, Doreen.

Good evening Doreen.

I hope you are good and heavily armed for that rude doctor. Why is it that a highly intelligent man can't have more of a nice bedside manner? Being smart doesn't always mean that you have an ounce of common sense I guess.

Glad you were able to get out for a bit even though it did tire you out. Hopefully all you need to do is to try and build your strength back up.Prayers for a little help in that department.

Do stay bundled up and take care of yourself.

Becky

Isn't it something,I find as I'm ageing I like being in my home more.I'm one that always wants to pack up and go.I still like the go, but am also glad to get back.

Shopping is the other thing that I used to really enjoy, now it's to get the food we need.Maybe that has to do with the way we eat now, which is very plain. Also too often when I get some beautiful looking fruit it turns bad before we get to it.

How cold is cold there?May today be a good one for you. When you do get to that Dr. remember he is working for you.Don't know what happens to some of them as they go on. The Neurologists seem to be the worst.More than one person I know has left their office in tears. Not from what they were told, but how.

Thinking of you-martha

Hoping this upcoming neurologist visit isn't going to be too upsetting. It's bad enough feeling so bad and having to go these specialists, but when their bedside manner is so rude it sure can be very disruptive to a person's stability. I would have questions written down so that you don't forget whatever you may want to ask him. I would also have a copy of them and have them with me when going to regular dr. for a confirmation and explanation if the neurologist doesn't explain things in laymen's terms. Over here, most of us have a Primary Care dr. that gets all the reports from the other dr.s. That way, one person has you entire health record in front of him.

Hoping that your feeling better, that the winter isn't too harsh on you. Yes, sometimes even a food shopping trip can take a lot out of a person, but we have to eat and maybe it's just as well that you "have" to get out for that little jaunt every so often.

Hoping that you have a good day! Hugs. Bea

I've been wondering about you for days. I missed your posts and have been concerned about your well being. It is too bad that your neurologist is such a jerk. There are some doctors that just aren't suited to be with patients; pathologists always seemed to be the worst, but I think neurologists just might run a close second. {{{{HUGS}}}} lottie77
