Ladies, I woke up to thunder this morning and now I am rushing to get my posting in before I have to shut down. I had no idea we were in for bad weather this morning. I suppose I should watche the weather on TV at night more closely. I didn't shut my computer down last night so I think I am lucky this didn't happpen in the niddle of the night as I might not have waked up. DH's CPAP machine makes a nice white noise and often shuts out outside noises.

I am off to get my hair trimmed up this morning and then it is into town to pick up a couple of things I forgot Tuesday. Senior moment. Had a list for left it on the counter in the kitchen. This is normal for me. It will then be back home and back to work. Actually it is pretty nice to have a purpose everyday.

It takes seventeen muscles to smile and forty-three to frown. ~Author Unknown

Keep smillin' .Becky :-)

Those storms can be a real pain. We've taken to shutting down when we leave for the afternoon. Here we can get thunderstorms every afternoon. Can be dry around the block.

We are both going to be beautiful--I have an 8:30 appointment to get my hair cut. martha

We have gotten in the habit of shutting down and unplugging every night or when we even go out for the afternoon, etc. My son's modem blew and his whole street got hit once and everybody had problems, so that's why we do that now. Anyway, I'm trying to use only the smile muscles this morning, but for some strange reason ivillage has had me sign in 3 times so far this a.m. with just the few posts that I have written to, and those frown lines are starting to come in. I mean, with this old wrinkled face I certainly don't need outside help getting some more of those frown lines!

My time is running out, and know that I have missed a lot but just have to get going with other things. Yes, when we go on a long trip I can read in the car or crochet, etc. I realize that many people can't do that, so we should consider ourselves lucky! A good day to you--Bea
