Back from Montana!

They had record high temps last week but it was still wonderful. Such beautiful scenery! Dh went fly fishing everyday while I drove around looking for possible retirement areas. If we do settle there, it'll probably be near Bozeman which has cultural activities plus is between 2 ski areas and near good fishing. Pray that those people get rain. It is so dry. Several forest fires have started already and they're worried it might be as bad as it was in 2000. We were there that year too and we got through a main highway just in time before they closed it because of the raging fires. It's a scary thing which they have to deal with just about every summer.

Tomorrow dd and I drive to my sister's in Canada. My poor gardens! Don't know how much time my dh will spend on them.

Hope all is well with everyone! Won't have time to read and respond today!

Martha, I have 2 buds on my night-blooming cactus. We've never had 2 at a time before!

Take care,

Hugs, Darby

Darby I seem to be telling you hello and good bye all at the same time. Did I miss how long you wil be in Canada. Should be a lot cooler there.

Perhaps DH will fool you and take excellent care of your flowers..

Have a good visit with your Sis.

Becky

Darby, it is even dry here in Washington, we need rain so badly. I am praying we all get the rain we need. Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Hugs, Gabby

Welcome Back. I was wondering how long you would be out in Montana. Sure is beautiful out there, isn't it. I forgot, where in Canada is it that your sister lives? Are you going out by dd, and then heading up, or is she by you? How are dd & dd's dh doing?

How long will you be gone? Have a good time.

We used to have several night-blooming ceres (sp?); when they bloomed, the whole house had that lovely fragrance. Alas, when I was caring for the old folk, the plants had to take what I could give them, which was no time to water.

Montana! What a beautiful place; we have only driven though, but it was pretty. lottie77

Hi...glad your vacation was fun...I have a friend in MT and she stated the fires were bad again this summer also. They keep hoping for rain.
