Well, I can take B&B inn sitting off my list - LOL. Our Darby nicely invited me to visit her this last weekend while she was filling in for B&B owners in Chicago. I had been toying with the idea of doing this as a way to travel a bit, meet more folks and get a little extra $$. Though she did most of the work, 2 days of going up and down stairs (a 3 story house vs. my ranch), food prep, etc. made me re-consider. My knees and ankles were killing me by the time I head for home. Of course, it didn't help that we walked a lot in the neighborhood, and had a great time - another story for another time. I figure by the time I got trained and had actual assignments, I'd be 70! As DH says, I sometimes forget to tidy up my OWN house - LOL. As owning a B&B was never high on my list, I can cross this one off easily. Now to unpack, do laundry, tend to my garden.....

I too don't know how Darby does it but I surely do admire her for being able to.

Well, that has NEVER been on my list. When I was a little girl, oh so many years ago, my mom ran a vacation house in Asbury Park NJ. I know the work involved and the dealing with people. Every day it would be 3 PM before I got to go to the beach. If weather was bad--

LOL Jacquie. I'm glad I was instrumental in trimming your bucket list. Now usually this owner has a housekeeper so this was
