Down here in Woodville, South Australia, I do not know if you saw my last post so I repeat that I have grown to love you for your strength & courage & the wonderful example you have been for us, I know I called upon it when I was having a painful time last year, without a doubt it was a wonderful help to me. I do hope the radiation is not too debilitating.

I have had a forced rest day today, when I woke this morning my spine was so bad it was very hard to walk, it has come in very cold the last couple of days so perhaps that could be the reason, I got my trusty wheatbag out, heated it, what a wonderful invention they are.

We watched a DVD that came in the post,"As it is in Heaven" set in Sweden - had never heard of it before, just took a chance when I put it in my queue to be delivered, we enjoyed it so much a very simple tale about a choir in a small village, the singing was just so beautiful.

Do hope this finds everyone as well & happy as possible, Hugs Doreen.

It is so good to see you posting. Sorry about that spine of yours. So many women I know are having back problems. I kinda try to stay from lifting heavy stuff. I use an old baggage carrier to unload heavy stuff from the car. Still feel the back, but not bad.

Now you are going into winter and we are getting hot. Fl is in the hot and humid summer. 90's. Thank goodness for airconditioning. Where is the perfect place?martha

Thanks Doreen. I certainly did see your message - but did sort of a general post all in one. I'm feeling much better this week - yesterday's treatment didn't seem to effect me - I felt peppy all evening. I am also taking a steroid to help with swelling - and that makes me a little hyper - have trouble sleeping and hands are a bit shakey - but as long as it does the job I'm not complaining. They may cut the dose if I ask them to.

Sorry about your back - I still say pain is the worst possible thing - I'm glad your heat treatment helps. I spent several weeks sitting on a heating pad when I had so much pain - thankfully it's gone now.

We have a wintry day here too - had to turn the heat back on this morning. Hope our newly planted flowers will survive - it didn't freeze but got into the 40's.

Have a restful day - or night. And thanks so much for your support. This board is a life-saver. Rosemary
