I just followed Sandi (sdivas) over here from the Osteoporosis board and thought I might stick around. It looks like a warm, caring community. I recognize at least two of you -- Bea and Jacquie -- from other areas of iVillage.
I am Becky and I live in Maryland. I have two grown children, married but without children, and my DH of nearly 40 years who just turned 62 today and is retiring at the end of next week! My mother just celebrated her 100th birthday in April -- two days after my 62nd birthday. She lives with my cousin in NW Pennsylvania so I spend a lot of time on the road between!
I do not often find time to post a lot on the boards I frequent and I'd probably bore you to tears if I did, but I will definitely be lurking and getting to know you better and hopefully sharing more of my life with you all.

Hi Becky,
Glad to see you here. I have slowly shifted to this board, as I reluctantly admitted I was no longer in my 50s (LOL - will be 68 next month). I can related to many of the discussions here, especially now that I am retired.

Hi Becky, and welcome to the board.
Kaci, thanks for the welcome!
I am still working part-time and think I will keep doing that at least for a few more years. DH is talking about getting a part-time job as a retirement job, too, but I think he needs a little time off first.
I look forward to getting to know you and the other ladies here.
LOL, Jaquie! I am quite a ways from 50, too, but still have a lot of longtime friends on the F&F baord, so I will probably be straddling the fence here. I hope to get to know everyone here as well!
Thanks for the welcome, Bea! We did meet on the 50's board, quite some time ago. I still post there some and have some long-time friends there. Then I ran across you again on Connect. Do you still post over there? Things got so messed up with the change in format that I gave it up for awhile, but it is starting to come together again and I am slowly picking it up again.
I am hoping to get to know all the ladies here on this board. They do seem like an interesting group.
Rosemary, thanks for the warm welcome. It is nice to meet you and I am looking forward to getting to know you better. My daughter-in-law is from New Jersey -- northern part, I think.
I hope you enjoy your visit with your DD!
