Not one boat on the pond, fisherman or otherwise.   Guess it's a real gas crunch around the recreational vehicles, although I do still see many camping units on the road.

Thank you to everybody for prayers for my DGSon and his wife and for the baby they lost; we are all aghast, and know that time is of the greatest essence as she is 39 or so and he is just a few months younger than her.  They won't talk and they don't want any phone calls--I sent a note and said 3 little words--"WE LOVE YOU"  and just signed it.

Our friends that the wife just had the accident, well, they bought a new car and are off for the weekend to one of their daughter's new home on the Cape and will stay until Tuesday.  We won't see them this week when we go home on Monday, so I'll be good and ready to chase the rubbish truck again if I have to.  LOL!  Next week I won't see them either because that particular Monday I will be meeting with my Crazy 8 girlfriends and going to have a blast for myself.  We are also planning on a day trip to the Cape, eat lunch and stroll around some of the pretty parks, etc. and if it's raining we will go to one of the girls house as one lives close to where we will be.

DH has been calling a stone mason, have to see about having a stone wall rebuilt.  Long story behind it and at the cause of what our former neighbor did illegally but he has sold and so now we hope to have it fixed.  Will tell all later if I think of it, but it's boring.  Here I am, trying to slide through and not put major money into this place and we thought we were going to get a new heater this year for here, but now not sure about any of this.

Have a good day everybody, I've rattled on long enough.  Hugs.

Spring is in the air!

Hi Diana-
So good to hear from you again. And I certainly hope you have cut that horrible grass by now!! The nerve of them! Of course, we live in a community that has rules up the wazoo too - I guess in the end it makes it nice for all of us.

This week with my DD here was just a warm-up for the whole family coming in August. It was totally different having her here alone - a good break for her and lots of good times for just us. But, of course, the main even will be August, and 2 weeks to play and enjoy. Keep posting - always good to hear about your life. Rosemary

Hi Bea--what a sweet thing you did for your DGS and his wife. I am sure they feel your love and caring even if they aren't talking right now. My DD and SIL lost their first baby also but 3 months later they were pregnant again and our DGSon just turned 6 years old. So i hope and pray your DGS and his wife have the same good fortune very soon.
Good luck with the stone mason hunt--aah the joys of home ownership :-)
We are having a beautiful sunny day today but it is quiet on the golf course and I can't blame that on the gas shortage--only electric carts allowed LOL
Have a good evening and I hope you don't have to chase the garbage truck again LOL
