We had Claire here for supper, pizza of course where it's Thursday night. It rained all day today and yesterday, and the day before was beautiful so we started putting the dock in but DH found some wood that needed replacing so he ordered it yesterday and we should be able to pick it up tomorrow. I guess we can't complain as DH made the dock 23 years ago, and he's only had to replace top boards maybe once or twice, and not all of them at one time, so it's not a huge job by any means. But he found that the frame work was parting at the corners and that did cause him some grief until he figured out how he was going to reinforce them. We have 2 sections in and he has 2 more to put in, and work on them as he goes along. Mostly everybody now, when they buy a dock they get the aluminum ones, and they are easy to put in, but DH has convinced me that a good storm will also take them away easily too. Anyway, at this stage in our life, I'm not interested in investing in a new dock, this one is good enough for what we use it for.
I went for a swim the other day, it was so hot, the water was like ice---brrrrrrrrr, but being so hot out it felt real good.
Tomorrow night I have to do my hair--surprise, surprise, the gray is showing. My goodness, have to have it done before meeting the Crazy 8's on Monday, and then it will be time to do it again for the end of the month for our DGS's graduation.
Our son is leaving Shanghei tonight and going to Hong Kong. He has seen quite a few interesting places in amongst the business dealings, and he said China is quite beautiful and interesting. In a few days he will be going to India. I think he will be glad when gets home though. The youngest DGD is making her Confirmation this Sunday and he will miss that, and then our DGS, the brain--has lost his ticket to the ball. They call their proms up there Balls, and my DIL is not helping him look for it because as good as he is in everything else and he excels in whatever he tries, his room is a total disaster. I hope he finds it. He has come in first and won trophies on his tennis matches for the school, and I think he will miss his high school when he leaves as he has had a lot of fun there as well to go along with his academic work also. I only mention this as they gave me a picture of him in his tennis outfit for the RAngers, the school team.
DIL happened to take a rider out on the saxophone when they bought it, and I think she said that she found out it is covered for all, and it's just a matter of time to get it fixed and he needs that saxophone yesterday, so every day is setting him behind.
That's about it for now, everybody have a good day, hugs.

Love the pics of you & Ted at the bottom of your posts!
