Tuesday and finally home..

Good Morning,

I got home yesterday around 1 in the afternoon and Kyle came with me. Need I say more about how busy I was and will be all week...LOL... Having him around is pure joy though and so I don't complain about that kind of busy.

Our camping trip was really a lot of fun, but it was oh so HOT. They were setting records in Myrtle Bch. Normally it is around 85* there this time of year, but it was near 100* every day we were there. The saving grace was, their camper was parked under a thick canopy of trees and with the exception of a few bits of sun we were not as hot as some that were there. Camper also has AC. Whew we could at least go in and cool off if we needed to and we were cool at night.

We were within walking distance of the beach and I only went one day. I was slathered in sun screen and they stayed 45 minutes and I thought I would not make it. They went back Sunday and I opted not to go again, just laid in the chaise lounge and worked my Sudoku puzzles. ;-)

Today we will be doing our usual Tuesday morning errands and breakfast out. Kyle and John are still sleeping, but Kyle is looking forward to eating out and seeing his favorite waitress a little later...LOL

Everyone stay cool and if you have to go out in the heat please BE CAREFUL..

Put some nice cool SMILES on and make your day better!

I guess I'll stop complaining about the high heat here. Isn't it nice to be old enough to have the sense to slow down and listen to your body? I see the women at the local pool baking in the sun with their kids and remember it well. Not being a "pool" person, it was shear torture for me, but the DSs enjoyed it a lot. Only saving grace at the pool was getting in to cool off during hourly kid breaks. Now I'd probably pass out from the temperature difference - LOL. Keep your powder dry.

Welcome back Becky--you were missed!! So good to hear you survived that awful heat. I bet it felt great to get back to your own place and to get some more time with Kyle :-)
Enjoy your days with him and stay cool -- if you can.

Sounds like a good trip-- relaxing under the trees is a good idea.Never had a chance to camp there. Did spend an overnight in Jan there and it was so beautiful. We were the only campers and the beach was just for us. Lots of sand dollars all over the place. martha
