My Dear Friends, well here I am at last, had to take some R.& R. just too much pain in this old body & the brain was a little troublesome too, we have been having very cold weather by our standards, of course I know you have winters so much colder than us.
We have been following as much as possible the storms you are having & saw those houses washed away, how overwhelming that must be, I have had my atlas out a lot this week trying to work out where the tornados & storms are.
Martha your trip does sound really wonderful, I am so glad you enjoyed it, you sure deserved it, my cousin did that same trip & thought it beautiful, at present she is in Russia.
Rosemary you seem to be coping in your usual amazing way, to have your daughter over must have been so good for you both & it is not long until August when the two little gentlemen will arrive.
Bea, do hope you & Ted are well & happy at the lake, I must admit I nearly had a fit when I saw the pictures of you both working on getting the dock in the water, I have a feeling this is not in the category of senior activities
Our DS brought us some groceries this afternoon which we so appreciate, the sight of him driving off with his beautiful Border Collie sitting up so precisely was a sight to behold, they were on their way to collect the children from school.
Well that has to be my limit today, I have not mentioned everyone, you are all in my thoughts daily & I send my love & prayers to you all, Hugs Doreen.

Doreen, sorry to hear that you haven't been doing well but, glad that you've now improved.
Always a bright spot in my day when I see your post here. So glad you have reached a better spot healthwise. If you could see me - you would gasp.. My face is bright red - splotchy - itchy - also my inner arms and upper chest. I started this new pill regimen on Friday - and by Sat evening I was a thing of beauty?? I thought it was better yeserday - but today it is worse, so I have a call in to the Dr. to see if he can give me something to help. I'm feeling good - none of the other dire side effects - so I'm thankful for that.
Our horrible heat wave broke last night with a storm that went through - no damage, but high winds and a lot of lightning. Today it feels so good to have the house opened up after 4 days of hiding in the AC.
I hope you can continue to feel stronger - bless your son for his constant care and support. I know my daughter was such a shot in the arm - of course I get her support daily either through emails and/or telephone. Take care of yourself and your dear DH - hope to see you again soon.
Rosemary
Welcome back Doreen. It's always good to see you especially since it usually means you're feeling better. Dh is in Russia now too saying good-bye to all his clients and friends. He's actually retiring at the end of September. Yeah! Bad thing is he won't be checking in with you in person anymore.
Continued good health to you>
Many hugs,
Dear Doreen, it is so good to see you here.
