Down Time Now - No more Freeway

Good Morning Ladies:

I've been trying to catch up with all of your activities this morning. This is one busy group of people.

Yikes, snakes! I hate snakes.  Won't even watch them on TV or visit the reptile house at the zoo. Got bite on my foot in Arkansas at the age of 4, so my fear is very real.

It is a good thing that there are not toll fees in Washington for using the Freeway. I have been up and down the freeway so much, I feel like I own the stupid thing. (I'm not even going to say word about the gas we used this month). June is the families B-day month.  11 B-days from June 1st until the 22nd.  So there is lots of visiting, but you just get tired of the constant moving.  Saturday was our last big party.  Swim party for 8 yr old DGD.  She invited her whole class so it was very busy.  DD and DSiL road with us.  DGS (16 mos) sat between them in the back seat.  He spent five hours on Saturday in his car seat.  He is a little trooper. Had his 1st visit to a pool.  Took a couple of headers in the children's pool, but DSiL was right there to pick him up.  I will say that Federal Way's Aqua Center is fantastic.  The pool they have for children is great.  Now I am home and I need some down time. If I could just stop the feeling that I am still moving.  Sort of like having sea legs.

No more cake and ice cream for me this month.  I'm going to make a pitcher of Sun-Tea and that is going to be my treat.  I've had way too much sugar and I can feel it as I am not sleeping well now.  Or maybe I will just go take a little nap.

You all have a good day.

Don't drink homemade sun tea - see my earlier post about not being sick from tomatoes. It was the tea -

Boy, I can really feel it when I've had too much sugar, too, Lou! I get headaches, can't sleep, etc. Sometimes it's worth it (Lemon Meringue pie;-), but not often. If I'd only remember how good I feel when I don't have sugar! I have DGS's graduation party to get through yet.

The pool party sounds like fun. Kids do love those water parks. Hope you've recovered by now! Cal

Lou I don't blame you about the Freeways, pam loves working from home because she doesn't have to get on the freeways. We use to laugh when she work down by Microsoft, in the winter it was a hour to get work and should be 15 mins.

Rest and enjoy your time at home, and stay off the freeways. hugs

Cal:

My downfall is Coconut cream pie, or maybe the lava cakes, or chocolate fudge cake. I just can't seem to pass a sweet by.

Lou,

Wow, June really is a Party Month for your family. I can see why you are exhausted with all that celebrating. It is nice that you all can get together though. Life is so short and it
