Already on my 3rd cuppa' as I had one in the car coming home this morning. It seems that we wake up earlier and earlier when it's Monday and we come home--left at 4:30 and were home at 5:00 a.m. I have the 2nd wash going in the washer, 1st in the dryer, and just checking over bills and the electric bill here at the house is hitting the $60.00 range and we aren't even living here. It used to be about $35.00 or so--oh well, I'll have to start sitting on the street corner with a hat for donations. LOL!
It is hot and humid today, and we are having coffee with our friends at 8 a.m., then out to buy tires (hopefully) for the car. That one trip to NY really did a number on the tires, and we were due anyway, and we have to get a sticker for the car this month and DH knows the tires we have are just borderline right now. Better to be safe than sorry.
Youngest son that just came back from China is now traveling with our DGS to Colorado and Utah for a 2 week get away with the troop that all passed Eagle Scout and their fathers and one mother also. They are all kind of hoping to make this a yearly occasion as they are all such wonderful friends now, the parents and the boys, that they would like to keep the friendship active if possible. You know how easy it is to drift as we all move on with life.
I'm on DH's computer here at the house, I'm surprised that I found ivillage with it. Gee, does anybody like rhubarb? Our oldest son gave us rhubarb last time up there and I'm still eating it, I froze some but still have more to go, and I love it but I'm starting to look like a stalk of rhubarb.
Well, on with my day, want to shower and fold some laundry, DH wants to cut the grass, both backyard and front today, which is easier here for him because he has the rider. The lake is a pain because it's all different levels and he has to drag and carry the mower up and down the stairs, etc. With my poison ivy all cleared up now I just might go in the water today also, I understand it's just like bath water.
A good day to all, hugs.
