New door lock report

We had keyed deadbolts and knobs on both exterior doors - all getting a little cranky with age. We now have a deadbolt which can be opened with either a 4 digit code OR a key. We only put this on the back door, which is the one we use the most - figured we didn't need the expense for something we seldom use. The knobs are key only, but now open with lever . They are wonderful. Most of the time we leave the knob unlocked, shut the door, punch in the #s then turn the bolt. Reverse process to come in. No more fiddling with 2 keys, plus the lever handles mean I don't need to sit the packages on the deck box while I unlock the door. The key pad is backlit and makes it real easy to open in the door. I just got so tired of fiddling with keys in the dark.

Bought them at the local Menards store. I'm sure Home Depot and Lowes would have them. Right off the shelf, just had to read the fine print to find handle locks keyed alike. They fit right in where the old deadbolt and door knob went. DH did do a little fiddling because our door jamb isn't straight - not much in this house is, as the house has settled unevenly over the years.
BTW - there is the option of different persons having their personal code. I guess this would be good if the owner has changed THEIR code and forgotten to tell others. We haven't read the manual that far yet, just using the 2 pre programmed codes which came with the set - LOL.
