Good Afternoon

I went to my foot doctor Thursday  of last week and now it is time to have the surgery on one of my Neuroma's. Don't know if I  mentioned that when I went last time another Neuroma was discovered and "yes" I did have to get another shot in that one and that did not help either.

Doctor and I discussed a bunion I have on the same foot and though it is not real painful I did tell him that it made finding proper fitting shoes nearly impossible. He tells me there is a new bunion surgery that is not as invasive and it is to make a small incision over the bunion and then insert an instrument that shaves the bone down instead of removing it. This can only be done if the bunion is not real large. The recovery for having both surgeries is just at 4 weeks. I will not be totally incapacitated for that length of time as I will be fitted with a shoe of some sort and eventually I can walk and put weight on my foot. I am a little apprehensive, but a anxious to get some relief from the pain.

I did try to schedule surgery yesterday, but the lady in charge of that was so busy that she did not get back to me. So I am still waiting today to hear from her. I will let you know when my surgery is going to be, if I ever find out..LOL

Have a good day.
