My foot surgery is finally set up. It is going to be on October 17th at a Hospital about 62 miles from us.

Surgery is at 7:30 AM and we have to be there an hour early. Yikes I think we should sleep in the car.. so lets put it this way....."YAWN" I will be ready to get some rest.

I am not having surgery in our town, because it would have been even longer before I could have it, as  my Doctor is only here once a month and I didn't want to wait any longer to have it done.

Will get the stitches out 2 weeks after surgery. Should be healed around 4 weeks after surgery, if all goes well.

I am glad to finally have it scheduled and the way time has been flying for me lately the 17th will be here before I know it.

Hope you all are have had a good day

Hi Becky--i sure hope the surgery will give you relief and that the time will fly by for you. I am having a senior moment--do you have heel spurs? There is an old saying something like--when your feet hurt you hurt all over and i think that is really true. You try to compensate for your hurting feet and that makes something else hurt! Please take care of yourself--we miss your smiles when you are not around :-)

I have 2 Morton's Neuromas and the Doctor is going to shave down my bunion bone and remove one of the neuromas.

A neuroma is a thickening

Hi Becky, so glad that you finally got to the bottom of the foot problem, and that it can be taken care of.
