Rich CEOs

I know the government had to step in and keep the whole economy from crashing, but I'm fuming at the people at the top who sucked big bucks out of those companies while things were going South. How sad that they don't have a job now to support their 3 mansions, airplanes, etc.! All of our children and grand-children will be paying dearly for these mistakes. Another "Nero" fiddling while Rome burned scenario??

I'm also disgusted with a BIL who has been named the CEO of a foreign company that makes equipment which competes with American made Caterpillar company. He gets a big salary for mostly letting them use his American status as a business ploy to move in and take more sales away. As you can guess, I'm not much of a fan of all the globalization of industry that took more away than we gained.

stepping down carefully now, lest I blow a cork

I'm with you all the way. The CEO's on top will still eat cake while the rest of us will have rough time buying bread. Thank goodness at this time I don't HAVE to sell. If I did it would have to be given away. Why? becouse of all the greed that had so many in homes they never should have gotten morgages on.Geerrrrrrrr!!Martha

I read every proxy I get, and vote down all of those big salaries and bonuses, but not enough of us do that!
