>Arrrgh!  I'm so tired of political commercials & phone calls!  I no   longer answer the phone if I don't recognize the number.

>Is anyone watching "Dancing with the Stars"?  3 nights is a little much even though I like the show.

>Thanks for the updates on Rosemary.  Not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

>How long do we have to continue to have pelvic exams?  I've never had a problem & feel 70 yrs. old is time to stop;-)

>I've been up since 6a.m., because I had to take DGD to school today.  Kids are standing on the corners in the DARK waiting for the school buses...dangerous.

>Hope you're all having a pleasant day.   Cal

Me too on the ads. With this financial meltdown, I truly believe whoever gets elected will not be able to change much. I'm embarrassed to say it, but I am worried about someone older than me being President, with such a young inexperienced VP. There are days when I wonder what I just did, but at least that doesn't hurt anyone.

Being a passable ballroom dancer, I catch DWTS on commercial breaks from the new shows we've been dying to see. My criticism of the show is that by expanding the number of days, they've put in a lot of re-runs and that just wastes my time. I cringe at some of the routines which have very little dance steps, but know that Len will call them on it - LOL.

I had my annual meds checkup last week and talked to the MD about quitting some of the exams. Based on my history, he said we could could eliminate pelvic one, but I should still have a visit is something seems wrong in that area. Also wanted to avoid the mammo - figure I'm getting to stage where I'm willing to let nature take it's course and not go through a lot of debilitating treatments. He convinced me that breast cancer treatment for my age is much less aggressive than for a 20 or 30 yr old, plus the odds are pretty good in my favor. This is another one of the diseases we don't have in our family. Actually, my review with the nurse gets pretty dull - I answer NO to everything but the hypertension!

One more tiny sewing job on the wedding apparel, then it's pressing time and out the door on Thurs A.M. Then I can begin MY outfit.
