Hi girls-

Kinda gray outside, and cool, but no rain, so we were able to do some shopping and not get wet. Now, what to fix to eat. I do cook for myself. The frozen dinners aren't too bad, but I cook better.

Our Rosemary is one strong lady. She has bounced back over the years with all the treatments she has gotten. Because of her, I do enjoy every day. She has shown me the way. I've been lucky to  spend time with her, and hope we can get together before I go back to FL in Jan. I bet her DD Kim is a terrific person like her Mom.

Wish you could all join me with a glass of wine that I am now going to have. Was going to bake, but just got lazy.I may watch more of the circus that is going on in our country. I hope the clowns can do something good.

Is every one going to watch the debate tonight? I am, but doubt it will change my mind. I'm not happy with any that are running, and just pray the winner does well for our country. I am voting Dem. I do believe they are better for the middle class , lower middle class. I'm a bit scared of Obama.Just hope that he will listen to his advisers, and hope they are good picks.

Oh well-- at 78 it will be a mess for the remainder of my life. martha

Martha this is after the debates and I think that McCain was a dottering old man that could not make up his mind if he was a dem, or a repub. I agree with Mindy, that Obama speaks so clearly and is such a learned man. I think we need to set our difference aside this time and do whats right for the country. Its a learn as you go job anyway, they don't really know what they are going to do until they are faced head on with the situation. (just an old lady rambeling) hugs

I'm with you. Like it or not, world leaders judge a person on his presentation and appearance. I prefer the older folks to act as elder statesman and advise the leaders, based on their experience. But - I don't want a VP with no experience being the laughing stock of the world leaders.

That said, I'm still mad at Obama and his Chicago crowd attempting to take away my civil rights to bear arms. When the ruling class takes over, I'll definitely be part of the lower economic class. That's when I want to protect myself whatever way I can. I sure don't need to worry about those criminals getting guns - they buy them off the back of a car, straight from some foreign country. But law biding citizens like me must jump through hoops to purchase arms.

Living in a Republican stronghold, it's so nice to hear of others who are tired of the political rhetoric and good ole boy network.
