Eldersis did call me this afternoon; the cell phone reception is terrible. Warm Springs is in the country, and there obviously aren't any cell towers near. My DB had tried to call her from his hunting camp, which in not too far away, and could not get her. I don't call, because I'm afraid that I might interrupt some of the exercises. She said that she hasn't been sleeping very well, and she walked 205 steps today, and is 'plumb tuckered out'. (Becky will be familiar with this terminology.) Her left leg is swollen more than usual. It swells ordinarily because of an automobile accident in which she was involved.
DH had his Mohs surgery this morning and everything went well. The surgeon is certain that he got all of the basal cell carcinoma. He certainly did a very good job of repairing the ear, so that it doesn't look like someone took a chunk out of it.
My Actinic Keratosis is just that! Thank goodness! I was having an allergic reaction to the bug spray which made the places itch and red. I suppose that one of these days I'll have to have them removed. Our Dr. is doing research on an ointment to use on it, and wants me to participate in the trials. If I can find the time, I think I will try to help him out with it. He probably needs a 70 yo gal, who is allergic to everything for the trial!
Becky, the tongue is just about healed! Yes, I can think of better things to do than to go shopping for Eldersis. She is very difficult to please on just about anything.
Cal, thanks for the 'care' package. I'll meet all of you at the sink; there is plenty of ice cream in the 'fridge. All we have to do is to turn around from the sink, and there is the 'fridge and freezer.

Sounds like you had a busy day with all the medical stuff to keep track of. So glad DHs surgery looks good. I have a scar on my cheek from having a minor cyst removed. Heck, the scar looks worse that cyst, I should have left it alone. I think it's great that you are volunteering to try out the salve for your skin problem - how else are they going to know if it works on humans?
Had a my first full day of just hanging out at home in a while. Got some cleaning up, of the sewing mess, getting a load of old vases and brand new bras to go to charity store. I kept buying bras in my old size that didn't fit. Then I went to an expensive store, got measured and found I needed a smaller band BUT a bigger cup. Other triumph of the day was printing a picture of DGrDs to iron on a tote bag for DDIL's birthday. I've had the paper for ages, just never tried it. Looks good now, we'll see how it is after it gets ironed. Also trying convince myself to bite the bullet and buy a color laser printer. I do a lot of greeting cards, calendars, etc. and the inkjet isn't terribly crisp. Will sleep on it and decide on Weds.
Weather will be in high 50s overnight, bedroom window is open, quilt is back on the bed. Should be a glorious sleep.
Night all,
Jacquie
Lottie, so good to hear that Eldersis did well and can't figure why she is at Warm Springs.
A bunch of my new bras went to the Salvation Army too!
